Aitho is a company that provides IT services to the Banking and Insurance industries. For clients such as Banca Unicredit and Intesa San Paolo, the team at Aitho invests heavily in research and innovation; creating semantic web sites and chatbots with artificial intelligence and language comprehension.
Madfarm were able to assist Aitho with the design of their company logo and new website. The challenge with this project was to design a solution that captured their high value service in a simple manner so as to effectively engage with their users – even from a non-technical background.
We achieved this through the design of custom logos and images to convey powerfully and yet simply their services.
We started with a symbol of Etna – the Sicilian volcano – as the name and symbol of the company.
We then based the colour selection from this chosen symbol: Red like the volcanic magma and a dark anthracite grey like the volcanic terrain.
Aitho’s brief to us was for a powerful yet simple website. We thus decided to go with a one page layout that brings the navigation elements together that results in a pleasant linearity during navigation.
Recognising the importance of mobile is vital. Hence we designed the mobile version of the website so as to provide an optimal navigation experience.
